So from Golden we came straight to Lethbridge where we were to spend the following two months. We were fairly apprehensive about the whole thing at first, but one month in, we’re doing pretty darn well! First of all, we ended up in a fantastic two bedroom basement suite owned by the wonderful Lowell and Julie. We’ve had dinner together twice, with more to come, I’m sure! Second, the weather, especially by Edmonton standards, has been fantastic! Last week it was even sunny and 15 degrees for a few days. Hopefully Edmonton will get this winter’s extra terrible weather out of it’s system by the time we return in May!

Julie, you’re hilarious! The clothing you speak of is kinda both a jacket and a sweater from North Face. They are AMAZING! I got Pat one that he wears all the time and then he surprised me with this one. Although he jokes that 10 years from now, when flashy zig zag patterns are no longer ‘cool’ Belle will look at these photos and tell me she can’t believe I went out in public in it…
