So here we are! It’s 3:00am right now, and Michelle’s water broke at about 9:00pm, I dropped Cooper off with some friends, and we made our way to the hospital. It took awhile to get into admitting, then it took awhile to get into a delivery room, but Michelle was a total trooper.

With the delivery room came the epidural, and soon after that came the obstetrician, who was pleasantly surprised to find Michelle was fully dilated! Michelle was also happy to hear that, since it meant all that excruciating pain had actually accomplished quite a bit.

Now we’re resting up for phase two. Hopefully both of us can get a little sleep, however I wouldn’t bet on it!
