A week after Kathleen and Brian’s visit, Craig and Katie dropped by for the weekend! Our first stop was the West Edmonton Mall so we could hit the waterpark. We had a great time on the slides, while Belle splashed around in the wave pool and the hottub. After dinner in the mall and a bit of shopping, we headed home for some rum and eggnog and some movies.
The next day, we went for a run, Michelle and Katie did some shopping, and then we set up the Christmas tree and made a gingerbread house! The evening also involved more rum and eggnog, some mulled wine and lots of extra gingerbread house candy.
Sunday morning we all went out for a fancy brunch at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald. It was absolutely delicious, and a great way to finish off the weekend. We hope they come back soon!
Looks like lots of fun was had by all. I even have pictures of Danielle when she was just a bit older than Belle in the same pools! Glad you are taking in some of the good things that Edmonton has to offer.
