So the first thing we did once we got into Edmonton, was head off on vacation! Days off for Michelle are rare, and she was able to get three in a row, so we took full advantage. We headed out Friday afternoon and ended up at the Tonquin Inn in Jasper. A relaxing pizza dinner followed by a full night’s sleep (thanks Belle!), set us up for Saturday. We began with a hike around the Old Fort loop, followed by a nice lunch in town, and then a latte at Trains and Latte’s in the old train station. Dinner involved tasting some local brews at the Jasper Brewing Company and we had another relaxing evening in. While Michelle did have to study periodically throughout the whole weekend, it was an amazing time!
